Coach Sally began teaching Swimming Lessons when she was in college and continued to work in the field of Aquatics Management in Colorado for the next 14 years. Upon moving to Florida, she began teaching Swimming Lessons, and has taught approximately 250 children a summer for over 25 years.
Coach Sally has a special rapport with children of all ages. She teaches children the benefits of a healthy lifestyle year-around through the Swim and Learn program in the summer, and the Jump and Learn program and school-based volleyball programs during the school year. Her experience working with children has also involved working with Scouts and youth programs within her church.
Coach Sally has experience working with children with special needs in alternative education settings and in swim lessons. This experience has included children with vision deficits, hearing deficits, behavioral challenges, developmental delays and physical limitations.
She has completed State of Florida background screening and screening through schoolboards for Clay, Duval, St John's, Baker and Nassau Counties. She is certified for infant, child, and adult CPR, AED, and First Aid through the American Safety & Health Institue.
